Business overview 

Micro Turbine Technology BV (MTT) (www.mtt-eu.com) is an innovative company located in Eindhoven. MTT develops micro turbines for various applications, currently focused on the international commercialization of the EnerTwin (www.enertwin.com). 

The EnerTwin is a cleantech product developed to produce comfortable heat and green power in domestic and light commercial environments. Due to its plug&play design it is extremely suitable for replacement of existing heating equipment in older buildings and refurbishment projects in historic buildings.

The EnerTwin runs on natural gas, LPG, biomethane and hydrogen mixes and thereby facilitates the energy-transition to a low-carbon future in buildings. In the coming years the EnerTwin micro-turbine technology is expected to be certified for 100% hydrogen grids and thus allow for application in new “zero-carbon” districts that are developed without natural gas.

Job specification 

As a Technical Project Buyer you are responsible for purchasing goods and services at both tactical and operational level, according to the set targets, guidelines and procedures and you actively follow up orders.

• Based on the supplied specifications, you look for suitable suppliers, send out quotation requests and negotiate optimal contractual conditions (quality, price, quantity, delivery time, etc.) for both routine and project-based goods and services.
• You (pro)actively monitor orders and delivery times and make adjustments where necessary.
• You support and advise your colleagues from other departments (sales, engineering, production and quality) when purchasing goods and services.
• You organize and coordinate transport and, if applicable, you also take care of the necessary import/export formalities.
• You are responsible for the administrative processing and follow-up of the orders, from placing the order up to and including delivery. You enter the orders yourself in our ERP system.
• You explore possibilities on the market, look for optimizations and visit suppliers and trade fairs.
• You report to the manager of our purchasing department.

Profile

• You at least have a bachelor’s degree in a technical or economic direction.

• You have proven experience of five years in a technical production company as a buyer, seller, calculator, … Experience with international logistics is a plus.
• You can deal well with the complexity of several parallel projects and you can plan, organize, set priorities and follow up;
• You are administratively strong and you can work with most Microsoft Office applications.
• You can think and act on both a tactical and operational level. You are customer-oriented & pragmatic, you are hands-on, collegial and positive.
• You think analytically, but you also know how to switch commercially. You negotiate smoothly and strongly.
• You have strong communication skills in Dutch, English and German, both orally and in writing.
