Micro Turbine Technology BV (MTT) (www.mtt-eu.com) is an innovative company located in Eindhoven. MTT develops micro turbines for various applications, currently focused on the international commercialization of the EnerTwin http://www.enertwin.com/.

The EnerTwin is designed to enable the Energy Transition in historic buildings and old city centers and has been awarded the Solar impulse Foundation label. It is a very efficient domestic power plant that can operate on various clean fuels such as biomethane, renewable gas and mixtures of Hydrogen with natural gas. A 100% hydrogen version is under development.

Job specification:

As a Embedded Sofware Engineer, you will be responsible for development, testing and integration of software solutions for controlling and testing micro turbine systems. The job consists of:

– Software development for new applications and for existing products (Life Cycle Management);
– Specification, design, testing, qualification and integration of new functionalities
– Implementation of solutions for system compliance with respect to safety, performance, as well as international grid standards for the connection of micro-generators
– Maintaining and improving embedded controller software
– Development of test/pass-off programs in LabVIEW and/or C/C++ and/or VHDL
– Troubleshooting (fault diagnosis) of (electrical) systems and laboratory equipment (software)

Professional qualifications:

Engineering:
– Control system design, development and implementation of digital controllers, design and optimizing of analog circuits
– State machines
– Source code version control
– Documentation
– Making of test protocols

Software:
– (Embedded) C/C++
– National Instruments LabVIEW
– PLC programming (Beckhoff)
– Digital signal processing and communication protocols
– VHDL

Education and experience:
· Computer science / Electrical Engineering / Mechatronics
· Experience with software development
· Experience with debugging of embedded systems, using measurement equipment like osciliscopes for debugging/validation
· 3+ or more years of relevant work experience
