Micro Turbine Technology BV (MTT) (www.mtt-eu.com) is an innovative company located in Eindhoven. MTT develops micro gas turbines for various applications, currently focused on the development and commercialization of the EnerTwin (www.enertwin.com) - a micro Combined Heat and Power (μCHP) system.

 

Job specification

You will work within the MTT development team on micro CHP system development and validation. Currently the EnerTwin has just been CE certified and commercial deliveries have started. The main task will consist of:

  • Lab testing, consisting of:
    • Preparing tests,
    • Preparing systems for testing,
    • System performance mapping,
    • Component validation and
    • Certification tests
  • Reporting the test results and presenting the result in a suitable manner for use both internally and externally
  • Assist in the certification process, such as documenting test result, gathering component specifications and test reports from suppliers
  • Assist in preparing, updating and extending the manuals (for various countries) and the training course
  • Answer installers and customers when they have questions by phone or email
  • Extend the models within MTT regarding system level performance and behavior of the EnerTwin (both GSP and custom models) and payback calculations
  • Define and execute tests program for optimizing performance and control
  • Collecting knowledge about the system available within the company and make it available to installers if needed and allowed
  • Assist in the further development of condition monitoring and predictive maintenance capabilities
  • Assist in design process and keeping the (digital) design up to date

At a later stage the following tasks will also be part of your job:

  • Assist in the specification, design and testing ofnew versions of the EnerTwin for specific customers or regions
  • Assist in the specification, design and testing of new systems for various applications
  • Support customers in the field, once sufficient knowledge of the system if obtained

Professional qualifications

Engineering:

  • Mechanical- or aerospace engineering,
  • Thermodynamics and gas turbines cycles
  • Testing and laboratory measurements
  • SQL and programming experience (C#, php, labview)
  • 3D CAD experience (Autodesk Inventor or equivalent)

 

Education and experience

  • or Msc. In mechanical- or aerospace engineering or equivalent
  • Preferable 2+ years of relevant work experience

Allround mechanic (1,0 FTE)

MTT is searching for an allround mechanic (1,0 FTE, with relevant work experience (> 3 years) in the automotive, assembly and/or fine mechanical construction)

Micro Turbine Technology (MTT) is a high-tech company located in Eindhoven, the Netherlands. MTT is developing micro gas turbines for various applications. MTT has developed and commercialised the EnerTwin, a micro CHP system (combined heat power). The EnerTwin reduces the energy cost by around 30%, while at the same time CO2 emissions are substantially reduced. Commercial launch was in January 2018.

Are you interested in being part of the EnerTwin team? Then we are looking for you, an enthusiastic independent all-round mechanic who will assist our local installers in maintaining the EnerTwin micro CHP systems and support the MTT's development team.

Job specification

The all-round mechanic will be deployed for maintenance and fault analysis of the systems placed in the MTT lab, at our customers (throughout Europe), initially under the guidance of MTT engineers. After internal training, you will work independently with support from the MTT office. Keeping the MTT lab space organized is also a part of your work. MTT is an internationally orientated company where free and open internal communication is an essential part of the internal culture.

Requirements

  • Experience in technical assembly obtained in industry or experience as an automotive engineer
  • Knowledge of fine mechanics, automotive engineering, mechatronics or electrical engineering
  • Able to work independently
  • Practical attitude and capable of effective planning of work
  • Proactive attitude
  • Flexible deployment
  • Accurate work style and capable of following internal procedures
  • Good communication skills
  • Reasonable knowledge of the English language
  • Knowledge of the German language is a pro
