MTT would like to let you know the steps we are taking to help keep our employees, partners and communities safe. Safety is our most important core value, and it will continue to drive our response regarding COVID-19. Therefore, we have acted as follows:

We have provided information to our employees to leverage the guidance outlined by the Dutch National Institute for Public Health and the Environment (RIVM). This guidance of the Dutch government can be found at https://www.rivm.nl/en/novel-coronavirus-covid-19 and https://www.government.nl/topics/coronavirus-covid-19/tackling-new-coronavirus-in-the-netherlands.

Following this guidance, we have:

  • instructed employees not feeling well to stay at home and consult with their doctor as needed
  • asked employees, who came back from abroad to stay self-quarantined for 14 days
  • adopted a “no hand-shake policy”
  • been respecting the social distancing measure
  • encouraged teams to work from home as much as possible, to meet by phone or video whenever possible
  • requested from our employees, who have to be at the office for R&D and testing work, to ask for a prior approval from the senior management team
  • postponed internal and external visits and (physical) meetings as much as possible
  • provided additional hygiene supplies at our job sites to assist with good hygiene practices
  • postponed any non-essential business travel until the situation is safe again.

MTT has been following and closely monitoring the recommendations of RIVM. We will continue to respond proactively and appropriately with, but not limited to, communication, updates in policies and ongoing health and safety exposure controls.
