With the recent start of building a micro gas turbine test rig facility at National Aerospace Laboratory NLR, the infrastructure for the development of micro gas turbines within the Netherlands is further expanding. NLR’s test facility will be built with a focus to improve materials and lifetime of the MTT micro turbine. Apart from facilities at NLR and MTT’s own test facility (performance and applications), MTT and its partners will have access to test facilities at TUD (compressor performance), TU/e (combustion) and Polidoro SA (combustor lifetime).
