After an initial career as an officer in the Royal Netherlands Navy, Willy started his own consultancy business in 1990 with a focus on investment- and R&D projects. His clients included companies as Akzo Nobel, S.C. Johnson Wax, Electrolux, Crown Cork & Seal and 3M. Since 1997, he is active as entrepreneur on the field of high tech start-up companies on various technology fields, including 2 successful exits. He founded MTT in January 2003. Within MTT, his responsibilities include overall management, investor relations, legal- and financial affairs. |

After graduating from Delft University of Technology, Wilfried performed his military service as an officer in the Royal Dutch Army. From 1986 until 2004, he worked at Dutch National Aerospace Laboratory (NLR) as senior R&D manager on gas turbine performance and the development of the Gas turbine Simulation Program GSP. From 2004 until 2006 he has been an MT member at Delta Consult/SKF Asset Management Services. Since 2006, as CTO at MTT, Wilfried is responsible for the technical development programs. Since 1998, Wilfried also lectures gas turbine theory at Delft University. |

Luc Hamilton graduated in Mechanical Engineering from the Technical University in Eindhoven in 1987. From 1987 till 2001 he held several positions in the management of energy and technology related projects at the Energy Research Institute in the Netherlands (ECN). Since 2001, Luc was self-employed and worked as project manager for several energy projects and on European research projects on distributed energy. Active within MTT since 2005, Luc is responsible for project management and technical coordination between the partners. |

Mark studied Aerospace Engineering at the Delft University of Technology and graduated mid 2006. From 2003 until 2004 he did his Master Thesis at the National Aerospace Laboratory on gas path analyses tools. From 2004 until 2006 he worked as part-time consultant on asset management support tools and the Gas turbine Simulation Program. Within MTT, Mark is responsible for CHP application development and CHP system testing. |

Until 2002, Savad has studied and worked in Moscow in the fields of aeronautics and aircraft propulsion. He earned his M.Sc. degree with cum laude from the Moscow Aviation Institute. Till 2008, Savad worked on a Ph.D. project in TU Delft developing a methodology for aero gas turbine exhaust emission prediction. This work was defended with honors. Since 2006, he has joined MTT research programs. At MTT today, Savad is responsible for R&D on the levels of the micro turbine system and components, with an emphasis on the combustor, fuel system and recuperator. |

Paul Smeets, (Senior Design Engineer) Paul is responsible for Engineering and Design of MTT micro CHP systems. Paul studied mechanical engineering at the Polytechnic college Eindhoven and graduated end 1989. In 1996 he obtained his MSc degree on Engineering and Product Design at the university of Wolverhampton. From 1989 to 2007 he worked at Van Doornes Transmission (VDT/Bosch) as senior engineer. From 2007 to 2008 he worked as design engineer at van Wees BV. |
